Hmm, I'm not a fan of this. Think they should be better than that, it's a bit childish.

I think they're safe enough keeping it contained/sandboxed in Twitter und the party handle rather than starmersThey'll just drag you down and cover you in the same shit they're wallowing in.
Amazingly shambolic, love this quote "it was like a clown running through a minefield"The last thing rishi wants is to give off the vibe that he's the captain of the Titanic.
So of course Rishi does a press do at the Belfast ship yards
It went swimmingly of course

Captaining a sinking ship - The Prime Minister's shambolic visit to NI
From press being sent to the wrong location to confusion around when interviews would take place, the writers of The Thick of It would have had plenty of material to work withwww.belfastlive.co.uk
He did a quick photo op and interview right next to Belfast Airport so he could leg it back to England as quickly as possible.Amazingly shambolic, love this quote "it was like a clown running through a minefield"
In the past 3 days he has:
1. Pissed off Sky News by kicking their reporter out of Downing Street
2. Pissed off Welsh media by dictating they couldn't ask questions about UK issues
3. Pissed off NI media by insisting they have to stay here while national media interview Sunak

He's following that good old fashioned election maxim: "The media don't matter, piss them off if you want, there won't be consequences."
He did a quick photo op and interview right next to Belfast Airport so he could leg it back to England as quickly as possible.
He is just not very good at politics.
