The Tory majority that Boris won means there is no election in England for at least another 2 years.Unfortunately, they are our neighbours having a mid-life post imperial crisis and we will be affected.
They need to get it together as this endless State funeral business and no government for months is taking its toll.
Whatever about their daft Brexit we do need them to succeed even though they have set their feet in concrete and have decided to throw themselves overboard the Royal Yacht Shittania.
So Truss or more accurately, the ERG, can go full BNP over the next couple of years and create a state based on the principles of the Sovereign Individual. The Queen's funeral was a huge boost to Truss. She takes over and immediately has a 2-3 week break of nostalgia and jingoism such that she doesn't have to deal with cost of living crisis, energy crisis, inflation, imploding economy and can ramp up the trade war with EU. That won't go away. They have 5 weeks - assuming SJD has no intention of going back into Stormont, by law there has to be Assembly Election 22 2.0. DUP have grown 3-4% by taking back TUV votes. There is a possibility that SF will lose FM position and it will be like to all intents and purposes like it never happened.
If she goes full ERG on the Protocol bill, it will cause havoc with exports from the North and farmers and industry will suffer per Manufacturing NI.
Add in the Court decision on the Advisory or Not Indyref2 in October - and she is going to be back to work in the middle of multiple shitstorms and she is singularly incapable of dealing with one of them let alone them all.
Going to be a scary winter in England - especially when fuel poverty sees a rise in illness and deaths in those who cannot meet fuel costs start making warmth v food decisions on a daily basis.
