Why would he condemn them?

He's absolutely right, this is the public sector in the UK we're talking about, not Ireland. Different ball game alltogether.

Some of the lowest paid workers are Public Sector workers who are now into their THIRD year of a pay freeze, and now they want to strip the pensions.

Public Sector workers here are not against paying more into their pensions, they want to negotiate a settlement, the Government have walked away from talks.

They are absolutely right to do what they are doing and there isn't much of a backlash against them here for doing it.

Yep, I don't know how much good this will do them, but i hope they get something out of it.
