They are opting into the EU migration pact shared asylum scheme which will see Ireland receive more asylum seekers per capita than almost every other EU country.

If people think the shit has hit the fan now then they aint seen nothing yet.

And as part of that we are losing forever the opt out from EU immigration procedures (that we've never used) that solely Ireland and Denmark have under the Lisbon Treaty. Denmark are using theirs and are getting a fraction of the illegal immigrants we are - yet Simon Harris says he "knows" Irish people don't want to use our opt out - must be reading different opinion polls than I am!

Love how you ignore Lawlor pointing out to Chambers the insanity of the government buying tents, giving people tents and destroying them and Chambers stuttering and giving a car crash answer.

I am all for people coming to work in Ireland so long as they have a proper visa and they do things by the book. Using International Protection as an excuse to get here is wrong and should not be tolerated

I have said here the government have made a complete mess of this and are completely all at sea, Like it or not id have
respect for any politician who is not afraid to to speak up and nail their colours to the mast and say we have taken in far too many,
Not politicians who speak out of both sides of their mouths on this,

Make every TD put any wealth they have away, they can earn the same salaries they have but it gets paid when they lose/give up their seat

While they're in government they have to live on €35,000 a year.

Yeah of course that's never going to happen but it might give them some idea of how their policies effect the lives of constituents. Imagine being a minister who never goes online.

Who forced them to come here ?

There is evidence that human traffickers are exploiting the migration crisis. Also, that’s no excuse for adding to our homelessness crisis. The gvt are doing a really poor job but these are people too and at the very least they deserve dignity and respect.
