McGregor makes a valid criticism of our political leaders in that they are too interested in foreign affairs. I'd prefer if they focussed on fixing broken systems that exist for our citizens. McGregor doesn't offer much by way of solution only as I see it to put himself up there as a pin up. I wouldn't vote for him myself. He seems to have an Irish version of white supremacy going on which as an Irish person myself I find ironic as it is a form of what our former overlords used practice here and is not what I consider what being Irish is about.

I haven’t seen it yet but I will watch it today out of curiosity.

He may or may not have some valid points, regardless there is nothing he can say that would make me vote for a man of his character to be the president of Ireland for 2 reasons.

1.) He’s a despicable pig of a man.

2.) The president of Ireland has little to no actual power so even if he wanted to make changes to immigration policies he couldn’t.

Just because he highlights obvious flaws with our current government isn’t reason enough to ignore the fact he’s a sexual predator and a coke addict among other charming characteristics.

If Jimmy Savile told me the pot holes in Cork are a disgrace I’d agree with him doesn’t mean I’d vote for him in the local elections
