Read that, never knew the original lord mayor's house was the mercy
I know! Weird.
Read it over Christmas to block out the madness.

He wasn't. Although insurance is an issue at the moment for many huntsSo I take it yer man that said he takes part in fox hunts with dogs was telling porkies?
Looks like Greedy is just a Norrie with notionsUs Northsiders are people of refinement, good taste and erudition. With multiple talents in all things intellectual and sporting, And that is just the women
We should also ban horse racing as it’s cruel and release the horses to their natural habitat that is Limerick City and the Lee Fields. The one advantage of hunting is that land is preserved in a wild and natural state to allow there to actually be foxes or pheasants or whatever to be hunted. Ironic, but that’s the sad reality when the land is otherwise being turned into a green desert at the moment by intensive dairy farmers who are buying up all the small farms. Many of whom would chase the hunters off their land not to mind anyone else.
Yup. And prior to Mayoralty being raised to Lord Mayor I think the building (Distillery House?) on the North Mall at the bottom of Wyse's Hill was a Mayoral residence, and the Sacred Heart at the end of the Mardyke was another.Read that, never knew the original lord mayor's house was the mercy
Pheasants aren't even native to Ireland. Introduced to give gun toters a few giggles by blasting them. The one advantage of hunting is that land is preserved in a wild and natural state to allow there to actually be foxes or pheasants or whatever to be hunted. Lifted this from somewhere.
Wild animals only make up 4% of the world's mammals; humans account for 34%, and our livestock for 62%. More than 178 of the world's largest species went extinct during the Quaternary Extinction. Overhunting was likely the main driver. The tropics are home to the most unique mammal species.
Makes no sense. What about mice and rats, there are surely more of them than humans. And dogs and cats? And what does 'most unique mammal species' even mean? Is an elephant more unique than a polar bear or than a chihuahua.
