Fianna Fail....but..but..Si nn Féin

RTE Radio 1. Morning Ireland. Earl/Topic/Treehouse doesn't think much of it though, despite it being one of, if not indeed, THE most listened to programs on Irish radio.

They usually have good political analysis. And you know us Irish, we love a good political discussion

9.15 and I’m already inside your head. It’s going to be a long day for you. Now as I said before, RTE is a shit broadcaster and I don’t bother with it. Unlike you I didn’t grow up huddled around the wireless.

Any truth that some TD's in the party had to ask reporters for a copy of the report.

I didn't hear that. Probably Flemming was only giving a flavour of it to RTE before its official release at the FF Party Conference in Cavan.

I hope they'll observe all the Covid Protocols and won't have to disturb the Attorney General again. ;-)

It's in the news. It's topical. It's been an important influence on the governing of this country.

And of course it keeps Dan busy looking for spam GIFs

FF didn't bomb in 2020, they over performed in 2016.

In 2016, FG, in their eternal arrogance, went around asking everyone to "keep the recovery going", while a vast number of the population were still feeling the negative effects of 5 years of crippling austerity. Those people went "what recovery, do you think we're fucking idiots?"

FF got a bounce from that, as you know, people have short fucking memories and couldn't remember that the crippling austerity was mainly down to FF in the first place, and proving FG right in the process.

They returned to their now middling level of support in 2020.

Speaking of short memories, I was watching the 2007 RTE “Reeling in the Years” programme and I it brought back memories of FG and others proposing even more spending and tax cuts than FF were! The reality is any of them that were in power at the time of the crash would have suffered the same ill will.

And now we have SF promising €45k houses….but..but Sinn Féin
