Saw the documentary last night on TV.
She and Vaat have parted. They parted some time ago and tried to make it work by taking things very slowey. Things didn't work out.
Vaat is now in a relationship with some local wan so I think Dr Ava's noise is out of joint.
However they recruited a manager for the resort and I thought there was a spark between her and him ?

Only saw two episodes about a year ago and my impression was that their focus on the property was to try paper over the cracks in their relationship.
Sorry it didn't work out for them.
