Definitely Maybe turns 30

To quote Alan Partridge - "All the money comes! AAAALLLL THE MONEY COMES!!!!".

Can't say that I'd have any interest in this myself but I can imagine that this will be a €150 per ticket minimum show.

yeah, no interest in seeing them again tbh

Liam is a total moron, having to listen to him talk even for 5 minutes is too much to endure, lol

I never saw Oasis live.

The first two records were solid - haven't listened to either all the way through in years though.

The audience at these (mooted) gigs could possibly contain a cross-section of some of the most insufferable pricks ever assembled for a legacy act.

saw them live in Seattle in '95 on a sort of a one day festival thing run by the local radio station, headliners were porno for pyros, also on the big were the rentals, sonic youth, jawbreaker, everclear and tripping daisy

oasis were surprisingly good I have to say, really tight, though Liam walked off about 2 songs in as someone threw a paper cup or something in his direction, de big fanny, he came back after a few more songs were played

the local audience for the most part hadn't a clue who they were

Saw them in Chicago on that same tour - they were supporting Smashing Pumpkins at a launch gig for "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness". Same deal as your gig - nobody in the States really knew them. They rocked it that night but everyone was there for the main event.

They played a great gig in the Pairc in '96 - really brought the crowd up with them and delivered an incendiary version of "Morning Glory" - the inevitable "I am the Walrus" wasn't half bad either.

Would you go to see them again Jim?
