A cyclist died in Dublin this morning after getting hit by a bus

Very sad to hear. Surely buses could be fitted with sensors that can alert the driver when he or she is too close to a cyclist.

It happened out near the airport at a cross, they are the old roads around that area and would have no cycle lanes.

I used to cycle in my teenage years and I can assure you there were no cycle lanes in Cork then.

Amazing how I survived so.

To the cyclist that knocked down the young woman at the junction of western rd and mardyke street just to let you know that she was ,forget it, you didn't care and kept going but someday you will do that again and you wont get away with it.,
