Criminally underrated Irish Albums

what about the ones who never got to make an album? seems like a lot of bands i got to see as a young fella never got that far, the odd single was the pinnacle and even then most were hit and miss affairs. nowadays you go to see some young ones hardly old enough to shave and their talking about having recorded their 3rd cd.

ps do you think i could get on that grumpy old men show with bob geldof?

The republic of loose - this is the tomb of the juice. Never got the attention it deserved. The blend of dirty blues, funk and gospel was great, while their second album is good, it lacks the gritty edge of their first.

A map of the universe by Blink
The debut by Mamas boys
The last man in europe by the blades
Sacred heart hotel by stars in heaven
Much of the divine comedy stuff especially Fin de Siecle
Engine alleys debut
Pretty much anything by microdisney and fatima mansions
I am the greatest by A House

the would-be's were a great irish indie-pop band, could have gone far i felt

fatimas were awesome, how they didn't become huge is a total mystery to me

cork feens manhole were damn good

the shanks were excellent

inhaler (emperors of ice cream offshoot) had great potential, way better than e.o.i.c. i thought

loads more i can't think of right now who could have been contenders

They are one band I despise.
