Cork u20 Hurling 2024

I’m not completely sure about this team
Obv if Timmy was available I’d have him in
But with what’s available I’d have Adam sull in wf push tadgh oc to mf and Ben Walsh to wing back
And I’d have Ross os in instead of Eoin o Leary
But look what would I know

Tobin was out with hamstring, didn’t think he would be back in time. Plagued with injuries! Don’t be surprised if he doesn’t last!
Haven’t seen much of Oran o regan, to be centre back must be solid ?
O Regan is a good player, saw him in the challenge game before one of the Senior games, he stood out for me that night

Strong team. Interested to see how O Regan does at 6. Only even seen him as a forward. Tobin is inconsistent, can be brilliant on his day. And again better known as a midfielder/ forward. Must be a serious forward line if Ross O Sullivan isn't starting.

That was where I thought O'Regan played as well (though I haven't followed his club career).

I'd be slightly concerned about the HF line, three fine hurlers but they might be overly reliant on Healy on Cork puck-outs. Good forward options on the bench with the two O'Sullivans, Barry Walsh and Nyhan.

Waterford should have beaten Cork last year, some terrible shooting let them down. The inside forwards Fitzgerald and Twomey will need close minding. Lot of pressure on Lyons after missing last year, but again he's a fine hurler.

Only 2 of last yrs Minors on the 24 ...but lots of talent on the team and panel...Hopefully they will have the savage hunger there to go after this Championship again...most of those lads have the Minor and u20 All -Ireland medals in there back pockets . Best of luck rebels.
