A good few years ago at this stage, 2004. Aghabullogue were nominated to represent Muskerry as Grenagh were caught up with Junior A hurling and Tom Kenny’s involvement with Cork. Aghabullogue won the junior A county and had to put it all on the line against Grenagh in the divisional final a few weeks later. Aghabullogue held on to win and hold onto their crown.
However, I do remember Erins Own and Sars meeting in an East Cork U21 final In 2003, Sars had been nominated and beat Valley Rovers in the county final, however, Erins Own later beat them in the east Cork final and took the county championship off them as a result.
