Cork u20 Football 2024

He transferred from Doneraile to Mallow pretty much straight after Cork were knocked out by Dublin in the Minor championship last June.
Have Doneraile no minor team or was it his choice? Huge disappointing for a club to lose a player like that. Hopefully he comes back to them at adult level. Especially to a big town team who should be producing their own talent.

Believe someone mentioned before that he’s been living in mallow his whole life and went to school there so propably feels more of a connection to them more than contrails I imagine the fact that contrails are so poor made that decision easier

He lives in Doneraile and attends school in Doneraile. I'd imagine his club had no objections to the transfer to Mallow, hence why he got to play for Mallow straight away. I'm not sure of the actual ruling though.
