Cork Hurlers - Part 2

Jack has had a fair run on the panel and he lit up the championship in 2021 (I think). But he’s struggled in recent years with his form and with the physicality of the game and in my opinion will be lucky to make the 25 for championship unless there is a dramatic improvement in his play
He picks up the stupidest amount of yellows as well.

45 two weeks out from the start of the league is a massive panel similar to last year, just seems a huge number to manage and accurately assess all involved, obviously a few inside there for experience etc I just hope and I’m sure that we will address during the league the obvious areas to address to try and go one further this year
Competition for places will be through the roof but Hopefully in the league the selectors will play a more settled side than last year with a sprinkling of changes every round. We have to be ruthless and try build momentum from the start

Great options in nearly all parts of the pitch which is a nice change, hope we don't over complicate it. Great club season as well with some teams having a longer stretch, hopefully players will be fresh enough for the league. I thought it was a cracking season anyway. A good league showing can only help later on. Oh and thank fuck for the Jack O'Connor news.

Jack Leahy would certainly be more deserving of a place on the 45 than Jack Cahalane who was only put on the hurling panel to prize him away from the footballers.
Barrs will most likely have 4 of the 6 forwards this year. The lads are well rested and ready to go… Us plus Hoggie and Harnedy for the 1st round.. Depending on how Hoggie and Harnedy go I could see Bucks getting in by the All Ireland.
Some serious impact subs too.
Jack Leahy is promising for the future I agree..
