It’s a reasonable point but last year we were away in Ennis & Limerick & with all due respect to Offaly & Dublin no one in Cork really thinks those counties would/should beat us - then add in a close loss in Croke Pairc to 5-in-a row chasing Limerick .. it all depends on how we took on Limerick — if it was a repeat on the round-Robin but with Limerick edging it then it probably is progress but God this feels like it COULD be one of those special yearsYou can acknowledge that Cork reaching a semifinal and making a good account of themselves is progress but not ultimately satisfactory. They didn't get out of Munster last year. Doing that and winning two games in the All Ireland Series is progress comparatively. That's an objective truth. That doesn't mean it's good enough.
For now ?Excuse your cheek....we're Senior A. Dear God ?.
Where have you seen Dublin be even physical, not to mind overly physical? They play a running game and are mainly focused on trying to move the sliotar themselves. I haven’t seen them front up to any team physically in a way you wouldn’t expect from every county team, in fact I’d rate them well behind the Munster sides in that regard!Discipline is likely to be key in the first ten minutes. You'd expect Dublin to try and 'lay down a marker.' They'll be trying to bury anybody who dares run with the ball. Reacting to it could land us in trouble. You can't back down either though. Personally (and maybe I'm a sneak) I'd be trying to get Dublin's heavy hitters carded.
