Cork Hurlers - Part 2

I disagree, we should be bedding down the starting 15 that's working at the moment.

We will have a very tough test just one week after the Joe McDonagh game.

The only changes that should be made are the lads who have a chance to start the next Saturday if fit (Joyce and ROF).
I agree, first off we can’t be taking anything for granted against Laois or Offaly, the priority is to win the game. Secondly if we make too many changes it could disrupt the rythym our fellas have gotten into. If Joyce is fully fit, which he should be by then, I’d start him midfield but I wouldn’t be starting anyone else, including Robbie O Flynn, bring him on at half time and ease him back in

I think if ROF and Joyce are (fully) fit, I would start the both of them and give Harnedy or Hoggie a break but only if fully fit, otherwise it should be 2025 before robbie starts again.

The Waterford came was the 'chance' game and it blew up in our face.
Can't take any more chances if through as it's knockout hurling.
The only way the 15 changes is if someone is injured.

If a fella is gassed at 35/40 mins then change him.

As the saying goes if it's not broken don't try fix it.

Absolutely, the league was the time to try fellas in different positions and experiment with the panel, In championship it’s about building fitness muscle memory and refining the game plan with a settled team.

If lads drop out of from or get injured the squad players will get opportunities along with coming on as subs.

Would love to see ROF get some minutes into the legs but at the moment he’s miles away from starting based on form and fitness, hopefully if the team does progress into the later stages Robbie could have a say yet but he’s a lot of work to do to try take a jersey from any of the current 6 forwards, who’ve been exceptional the last 3 matches.
