He was being booed for faking an injury to get Dalton booked, not because of his conviction.it had nothing to do with the game should we boo Aisling Thompson?

Matty you are a seasoned legal veteran and know well how different the real world is to what the public perceive. What about it did you find disgraceful?
With a Moniker such as yours I think the case for the defence should be no bother !!He was being booed for faking an injury to get Dalton booked, not because of his conviction.
I don't get your point tbh.Matty you are a seasoned legal veteran and know well how different the real world is to what the public perceive.
There are figures all across public life including GAA heroes in Cork that have carried out some deplorable acts of violence but have not been charged or prosecuted especially as times were different. Whenever I hear people in Cork go on about Hayes I always think of a family member of one of our own legends describing what he did and the extent of the injuries suffered. And it’s no secret either.
We can’t have it both ways.
Furthermore, if the GAA is going down the road of sanctioning players for crimes dealt with by courts then it’s a slippery slope.
While undoubtedly the politicians have one eye on the elections, Burns, himself, has skin in the game, being well-paid by the organization. Read the comments here and compare Cavanagh's with the empty nonsense spouted by Burns.Jarlath Burns has accused the govt of electioneering following the criticism of GAAGO, In fairness politicians across the board have been critical
of it,
It was pretty much right in front of us in section 408, it was shithousery of the highest order from Hayes and he was rightly ridiculed for it. Hayes went to the line to get water and a message from the Limerick water/hurley carrier, Dalton joined him and stepped in between the two, Hayes, already rattled at that stage, didn't like it and the two had a few words before Hayes suddenly dropped to the ground without any hands being raised towards him, clearly suffering from severe lightning fast paralysis to his legs, he remained prone and enjoyed a rub of his balls for a minute. It didn't work and Dalton won the battle. We couldnt see the incident of tv. I just presumed it was typical Hayes, killing our momentum. He goes down with "injury" alot when opposition on top.
If Dalton didnt hit him, its pure shithousary from Hayes.
They've been on the road a while now and my gut tells me we're starting to burn oil.A few young lads have stated their case in the forwards but for me the fulcrum of our side has been the half back line.Good balanced post.
It was unusual to have so many of Limerick's best players having such a poor evening.
Time will tell if this was just a bad day at the office which can happen or another sign that the cracks are appearing in the team.
I do agree that the Limerick panel is just not as strong as people say. Over the last number of years there has been an incrdedibly settled side where everybody can name name probably thirteen or fourteen of any starting Limerick team. It is much easier for one or two squad players to fit into the pattern of a team that is already settled and playing well. Maybe not so easy for a squad player to impress in a team that is misfiring a little.
The Waterford game is a big test although I don't think Waterford are anything wonderful, they certainly didn't need to be to beat Cork and couldn't beat a poor Tipp team at home. I think the Cork result will probably give them a boost but really if Limerick can't beat them at home then this team is really finished imo.
The game on Saturday was a boost for Cork but also motivation for Limerick to do better.
It's pantomime stuff, I wouldn't have any problem with it.The booing of hayes is a disgrace. Didnt happen in the 2nd half.
Shrupp ya clownThe booing of hayes is a disgrace. Didnt happen in the 2nd half.
Not where I was sitting, he got it from the first minute and rightly so.He was being booed for faking an injury to get Dalton booked, not because of his conviction.
