Cork Hurlers - Part 2

Kinnerk is a great coach no doubt, but he’s got some all time greats at his disposal who would win AIs under any coach imo.

Pat Ryan needs time. Kiely and Kinnerk did very little in 2017 let’s not forget

Guess the question is how much did Kiely and Kinnerk improve and develop what was undoubtedly a talented bunch at their disposal with u21 titles in 2015 (under Kiely) and 2017.

Not having a go at anyone here but based on this thread alone there must be 40/50 players now good enough to get a chance. The management team can’t pick everyone.
That’s a symptom of the problem that is Cork hurling.. just not enough top end hurlers.. and haven’t had with a long long time now. Pat Ryan will have to be a magician IMO.

Whatever credit the likes of Cody for KK & Sheedy for Tipp get you should triple it for Kiely & Kinnerk at Limerick... Kinnerk has had a profound impact on the way hurling is played and practiced and how every club team across the 9/10 hurling counties are prepared. Gone are the 99 cones of 8 different sizes and 12 colours that were seen at training sessions and every warm up.. Kinnerk has put the cone companies out of business & reduced Global warming.
