Cork Hurlers - Part 2

The only acceptable type of club is one that doesn’t lose the run of itself before doing anything to back it up. These last two years must be an embarrassment to the good hard working people in Sars

I couldn’t care less if you were pulling his leg or not, you are typical of the “look at us we are Sars” mentality that has unfortunately split your club down the middle. And I certainly couldn’t care less about your views on me either, like this abberation in a great club in Sars you will be soon gone never to be seen again. And I have no “pals” on here, none that I’m aware of anyway, this being an anonymous chat page

I have nothing but respect for Sars, a great club who have developed their players and facilities to be as good as any other. And despite all their counties in the recent past they never lost the run of themselves, until last year.

It’s not the Sars way to pick battles? You’re right, until last year when ye split the place in two bringing in some adrenaline pumped hyperactive lunatic to run yer team at the expense of a great Sars hurler and coach. But that’s democracy, every now and then the lunatics take over the asylum and it will come back to bite ye hard.

Ye are massive favourites for the county, and rightfully so as ye have a very strong group of players. I think there’s only 2 or 3 teams, and a loony on the line, capable of beating ye if ye have an off day. Or if ye don’t stop punching the heads off each other in the dressing room after games

A little advice, try be a little less pompous, you might get cut more slack and actually find this place enjoyable

I thought that was just a myth. Did that actually happen?

Didn’t say boxing the head off each other, without going back to see I am nearly certain I said it was handbags! It was being joked about by Tuesday evening
To imply it was "each other" would mean the other got a punch in. It was my understanding it was one way traffic.

Sars surely have players from their own club who can do a better job or at least as good as the 2 outsiders they brought in this yr. Both were poor against Charleville and had no influence on the game. Murphy was destroyed at full back by Andrew Cagney who scored 2-3 from play. O Regan replaced and offered very little on the day.

Murphy was solid against Blackrock though and fills the gap Craig Leahy left. Personally I would have Liam Healy or Luke Hackett playing before O Regan but he may come good yet.
Is Craig leahy away or what's story?
Always thought highly of Healy, I thought he was potentially good enough to make senior inter county. Surprised to see he's not getting on the club side
