Cork Hurlers - Part 2

My source in Kilkenny says the chosen successor is Shefflin but James Stephens are blocking every attempt to remove Cody from the Inter County setup.

So in a sense he is blooding Shefflin 🤣

Hearing bitterness towards Cody this year like never before. If they go out badly in the semi, his position will probably become untenable despite his years of service. They’re getting tired of the losing run!

Cody last won 2015, that's your up to date losing run. No other county would have kept him
that long. You're just another loser 🤣
He still won the last 3 Leinsters in a row with a bang average KK team. During the lean years, Cody's still making AI semis and finals, even managing to turn over the mighty Limerick. No other county would have kept on the most successful manager of all time? Gwon ya langer.

Back to Cork.

Whoever is to be appointed, it should be done soon.
Planning for next year should start immediately.
This never happens in Cork. County Board and Clubs far too casual and a too many within clubs don't care. The attitude towards picking the right selectors does not exist and most selectors are poor across all the age groups and codes, so mainly Cork teams seldom have the best teams on the field.
