Afaik both Michael Murphy and Paddy McBrearty had their first starts at 17. Didnt Tompkins play for Kildare at a very young age too. All had decent careers.

Tompkins was the top scorer in the entire national football league aged 16.

I wouldn’t expect Cleary to rotate much for the rest of the McGrath Cup. He used more or less the same 20 players last year from Jan - July. He seems to know the players he trusts and I feel this could come back to bite us later in the championship if we pick up some injuries. A failure to develop scoring forwards in the mould of Daniel Goulding and Donncha O Connor is one of the many downfalls of Cork Football at the moment

Wrong here, he had massive amount of Injuries and a lot of the younger players look be flying fit.
