Are Powter or Killian O’Hanlon likely to return at all this year?
With the quick turn around from league to championship in the split season, and what it takes to get up to championship tempo, I'd say no way we're seeing anyone who's missed all of or even most of the league.

'Strength and conditioning' seems to be this years 'instensity'.
There can be no denying the conditioning of the players at his disposal is mostly well below the level of where it needs to be. It has been a big issue. It’s not something that can be fixed over a short period of time though and Ricken has always acknowledged that.

Down are poor and they’re been the one team we’ve beaten over the last few years on a consistent basis now. Offaly aren’t great but it being a relegation play off away adds some spice for it for them as a the home team. Avoid relegation and it won’t have been a bad outcome given the state of the injury list.
