What Deirdre Forde said was shameful. Almost blaming hospital staff for it. FG have been in government for 12 years and it’s worse the health service is getting. She should apologise and resign.

Disgusting. Staff in hospitals are at breaking point thanks to the chronic mismanagement of the HSE by FF/FG.
Each Health Minister is somehow worse than the last.
No blame at all should ever be laid at the door of hospital staff.

Absolutely shocking killing of a poor, defenceless elderly man in Mercy hospital by another man who clearly should have been under close supervision and isolation.

Very sorry for this deceased man's poor family. You at least expect your loved ones in hospital to be safe from physical harm, even if they are stuck on a trolley and neglected by overworked and under-resourced staff.

Hospitals are understaffed and over worked. But apparently this attack has nothing to do with the government.????
