A good win yesterday, looked much much stronger which is hardly a surprise. A Thompson stand out player for me yesterday, thought she was superb at half back.
She'll go down as one of the greats.

Sars won the County last year but have no one starting so I assume she's the "squad captain". All a bit odd I agree.
Ya the camogie are still doing it where the captain is from the county champs. So Sars player but not on starting 15. It's an awkward scenario. Probably time to move to just letting management pick whoever they see as best choice
The optics aren't great in this instance but I like the idea/tradition, a nice bit of extra recognition for the county champions.
