Anyone got any headsup on the best bank in Ireland for a small business, or startup?

Ulster Bank. Pretty much NO charges.

AIB can be handy because AIB to AIB direct transfers are instantaneous whereas all the others take 2-3 days (why?). Have never been with anyone else or shopped around costs-wise though. Probably getting fleeced.

i know a guy who deals with banks on a regular basis for his clients - he recommends bank of ireland for businesses - says they have the best in-house systems, etc. We use AIB (wouldn't recommend), ulster bank - pretty good, bank of ireland - just started with them.

Bank of ireland's online banking for business is absolutely appalling. I wouldn't recommend them for this reason alone.

I use Bank of Ireland for my business. They were very supportive, and got me everything I need, including some unusual requirements on my part, but a part of that could be down to the strong working relationship I have with the manager in the branch.
