Ya tis a bit drawn out in spots , I've read it a few times over the years , usually when on the road somewhere or other .

Have the Game of Throne books upstairs and can't get into them at all . Love the the TV show though , pure quality .

This could go the way of the final season of Game of Thrones where "writers" thought they could do better than George R.R Martin and write their own version, likewise this will be "based" on something Tolkien never really alluded to, oh well, time to milk the LoTR franchise same way as Stars Wars is getting milked.
