Blarney 2-9 Ballinora 2-7
Aghinagh 4-15 Grenagh 2-6
Dripsey 4-12 Ballincollig 3-7
Donoughmore 2-21 Clondrohid 1-8
Eire Og 2-19 Kilmichael 0-7
Inniscarra 2-12 Beal Atha 1-12
Mentioned in a previous post how open Muskerry championship is. A few hammerings in the group stage, but once knock-outs come there should be some great games. I didn't see it coming at the start of the year, but Donoughmore seem to be a team on the rise quickly and coming in nicely under the radar. They won the Muskerry league convincingly and with that opening result and Kilmichael & Eire Ogs 2nd team in their group, they could even book a direct semi-final spot (Probably 2 out of 3 between themselves Inniscarra & Aghinagh). Early days but the winner looks it will come from one of those three.
I thought Grenagh would run Aghinagh closer than that to be honest. Kilmichael be seriously disappointed with that result and haven't made an impression in recent years. Maybe they are more of a hurling club at this stage ?
