Yes. Douglas won junior B last year so had 2 Junior A teams this year. Allowed 2 junior A in the league but not in the Championship

Football will never develop properly in clubs without an appropriate pathway to move forward

Same with county championship - 1 out of 60 odd teams gets to move up to Premier Junior every year - why so limiting??

Douglas have had two teams in the Junior B championship for the past few seasons and have played each other in championship a few times, pity Rochestown hasn’t managed to get more of a foothold in the area, especially when you see the improvements with the football in Ballyphehane in recent years.

And I’m sure I’ve said before but I remain in favour of scrapping the divisions for county wide grades with multiple teams moving up and down between them, will never happen though.

2 up 2 down from the Junior A to Premier Junior grade is the way to go. Way more teams in Junior A than in any other grade so only fair there is more movement there. Finalists up.
