2024 Intermediate A Hurling Championship

He played well considering Ballygiblin kept trying to hit him on his bad hand worked against them in the end as they had two send off second one striking Healy on his hand with the Hurley right in front of the ref no need they were well in the game without being so stupid
He was lucky not to see red himself. Early yellow like Ballygiblin player and clotheslined a fella long before Ballygiblin lost their 2 players.

Ref was consistent Ballygiblin high tackle same as Healy no yellow point I was making was you just had 1st red you are still leading playing well and played well up to last 10 minutes in front of the ref you struck Healy with the Hurley seconds before Keane struck him as well made no sense as Ballygiblin were the better team

Fair. 2nd red was silly. Didn't see first one but from what I'm hearing it was very harsh. Would make sense too as O'Mahony not that type of player.

1st red was probably harsh but maybe he deserved it for being so dumb! Ballygiblin targeted Healys hand from the very first throw in, their no. 9 got 2 yellows for it. If they had kept 15 on the pitch I think it would have been a very tight game.

Was a red all day long. Play had stopped for an Ballygiblin player over carrying the ball and no fight or anything had broke out. He lined him up from about ten meters and ran straight over him right in front of the ref and linesman. Was the height of stupidity.

The intermediate A has turned in to a joke at this stage .. Senior teams have F_____d it up particularly Blackrock and midleton strong teams at the start and by quarter final stage loosing players .So you have a completely different team at the latter stages. The setups a joke

Midleton got to the final last year. Sars two years before that and Blackrock won it two years before that

What’s the alternative?

All senior clubs to name 18 players and they cannot play at a lower level for the year even if injured/missing for any of the first team games? Its the same as a club with one team if your injured or missing its tough luck you don't play. None of the second teams are dominating so I don't see it as a major issue, Erins Own started the same team for the last two games with Oran O'Regan coming on after 40 mins Saturday, while Lisgoold are hot favourites will the lack of tough champ games cost them? It wont surprise me one bit if Erins Own win
