2023 Premier sfc

Any of Valleys, Carrigaline, Carbery Rangers, Micheals would want to be bananas to let themselves take a kicking in any game from now on after Mallow got hosed by the Barrs, Carrigaline will have the toughest job to avoid that in their game v Nemo. Competition is split again already after 1rd, 3 or 4 teams looking up, rest looking sideways...

I didn't say Carberry would beat Barrs, Nemo etc but they might be 4th team in s/finals - Ballincollig, Douglas, Eire Og all treading water if not regressing, door is open, pairings after groups could be very interesting

Ya ok, if Carbery can avoid one of the top 3 plus Haven, then they might get lucky and make a semi, I reckon Ballincollig or even Douglas would have too much for them though.

All evidence suggests that there isn’t a snowballs chance of anyone outside of Clon/Nemo/Barrs winning it. It’s sure to be an epic battle between those 3. Championship shaping up nicely.

You’re not far wrong there BBB. Although from i what I saw of Clon last night I honestly think they’ve leapfrogged Nemo. Time will tell though.

I don’t think any team has the powerful runners Clon do. Clancy, 2 Whites, LOD, Lowney, Shanley. Any team setting up like Valleys last night, allowing Clon to run at them will get absolutely steamrolled. And I include Nemo and Barrs in that.

I don’t think any division or college will come anywhere close. They won’t even make a semi.
But Clon didn’t steam roll Valley Rovers. It was the black card which opened the gap between both teams.. both of these teams are poor.

Congratulations @Fox Leary and all in Clon on them winning the PSFC on the 29th of July.
With Haven drawing and Clon beating a team that got relegated in their league and no coach/manager it was easy to give out the trophy this weekend, well deserved.
Commiserations to all in the Haven as they got relegated from The Big 4, which is now the Big 3.

After a great victory over Valleys in the final, this is as close as Fox will get to lifting the Andy Scannell so please let him enjoy his moment.

Clon’s perceived issue was their lack of scoring ability.

Their defence has always been stellar.

On last nights evidence they have solved the firepower problem.

Serious statement of intent.

Won't get away with that full back line from last night - will have to bite the bullet and put Clancy back there before it's too late - both inside forwards for Carberry Rangers had Castlehaven in right trouble on Friday night.

Relegation will be intriguing - any one of Mallow/Douglas/Michaels could beat each other, same for Eire Og/Ballincollig/Carrigaline group.

The Valley Rovers/Carberry Rangers game at end of that groups matches could be a very tasty fixture with a lot on the line.

Surprised to see so many haters out in force this morning after a barnstorming display saw Clon re-affirm their credentials as one of the contenders. I thought they would only be so vocal if things hadn’t gone our way last night.

In reality aside from celebrating a brilliant display of attacking football, all Cork fans should be thrilled to see Liam OD back to his very best, to see Darragh Gough emerge as Corks most promising young forward. Not to mention the prospect that Clons 2 best performers, the White brothers, could yet return to the fold for Cork.

A great evening not just for Clon fans, but for fans of Cork football and football in general.

Absolutely no hate at all, however you have slated and shown hate toward several clubs and in some cases even individuals the past week or so here.

Great win for Clon but a lot of what you're saying is over the top, ye were expected to beat a struggling Valleys team who were relegated in the league and lost their manager/coach and also played last 10 mins of first half with 14 due to a black card. They also had 1 goal and another chance that hit side netting. It was evident Ye are weak in the full back line something Carbery and Haven will most definitely take advantage of unless ye sort.

Every club that won over the weekend are contenders.
