2023 Premier sfc

Haven wil be kicking themselves, thats 4 semis lost and all 4 they had chances to won, two off the bar but I think when you go 5 or 6 behind you are always trying to play catchup unless you get a goal or two.

Jack Cahalane and Rory Maguire s shots off the crossbar are the fine margins at this level , still i think on the day the best team won .....Rorys effort was in the same goals that his father stood in 1998 All Ireland semi final famous goal that was .

Was in Thurles yesterday ,only 4 stiles open 20 min approx queueing to get in ,no programe's available when i got in. Did no see a tricolor flag,Game itself was entertaining better team won some of the bigger names in the haven team did not play well but with a little luck they could have won the game.

Well done and hard luck to Castlehaven, they have been fantastic representatives and ambassadors for Cork since their county final success.
No doubt they will defend their titles with honour in 2024.
On another day they could have won that game but not to be, small margins as we saw in the other semi final also.

Winning a munster senior club title is a fabulous achievement.
Since the new grading and championship format came into place in Cork have won 2 of the last three senior football championships in Munster.
Nemo had won a couple just prior to that also. Some on here complain about some of the draws, etc but it goes to show that it is working. The top three are the benchmark and its up to everyone else to get to those standards.

It’s all within the rules. Incredible that the diaspora is so strong.
In other years there would have been guys from neighboring parishes playing with them too which is prob why the Haven aren’t so popular down west. You also have the likes of Seymour from Btown and a guy from Blarney direction.
County final winning team last Sunday 11 born in parish and 4 sons of the father that's all local
