Sinn Fein are not a Normal Political Party

Sinn Fein are a totally normal political party.
Most of the comments back up the caller.

Because in their world it's acceptable to call out someone as a cunt if you think they're a cunt.

Others of the opinion that this is made up news.

Shinners have always used implied threats of violence ( I grew up in a town full of them ) based on their political affiliation, and if SF gets called out on it those using the Shinner brand for intimidation did so in a 'private' capacity.

Paul Quinn springs to mind

People should be extremely fearful about S.F. getting into power.

They have a support base element made up of extremely angry men who display deep nationalist/socialist and fascist tendencies.

Listened to academic Colin Harvey on drivetime last night, he said he is getting dogs abuse from loyalists for his stance
on a united ireland, He says he has no party affiliations but feels we should all be exploring what a united ireland might look like,
He has a panic button in his office in queens university,

Not just loyalists - SJD met with the QUB board last week to complain about him. Bryson has routinely put a target on his back.

On the thread topic, a few months ago I suggested the budget coupled with LV taking back over would see a bounce in FF FG support and a dip in SF support.
You'd nearly think he was contemplating an election before time the way he has been all over the press in the last few days in preparation for resuming the top spot.
As I have posted many a time, I don't think MLMcD is actually looking to bridge the gap from the low 30s to government at all. It seems increasingly likely she will play the same card as last time, certainly increase SF representation, push the change narrative and then dive for the opposition bench again.

33-35% won't get them into government no matter how much people think it will.

The government have the mandate to run the country, and one party in particular has been in power for over a decade now in one guise or another.
If you have a job and a home and probably private health insurance (although the power of that is waning) - the FG years have been reasonably ok for you.
If you don't, can't get on the property ladder, can't see a consultant, have aging parents waiting 15 hours in A&E and then another 36 on a trolley........not so much.

At some point the coalition partners need to address the housing crisis, the health crisis and the increasing disparity between the investment inside the Pale and outside and remember that Ireland exists outside the M50.

Would you say Pearse has a nicer ass?
Errra, less of the mansplaining jimmy.

She's fat, she's round, her ass is on the ground, Mary who? Mary who?

These are also problems caused by a rapidly developing country becoming wealthier and with a bigger population and immigration as a great place to live and work.

The housing crisis is being "addressed" however planning system and capacity constraints will be there no matter who is in power.

Lots to be fixed in housing and health.

Local authorities are sitting on 1,000's of vacant homes that could be made ready for occupation for example.

But no, as they are just wasters.

The housing shortage is a scandal but in mitigation there is a massive growth in population, demand will continue to far outstrip supply
despite what some promise,
