As Earl said, Warren Golf Club, not too far from Exeter. The train when not on strike, stops right outside the course too.

Not sure if you know this fella below? It's his home club, although I've yet to see him mincing about the course.

Thank you GM. It does look like an inviting course. I love playing Links golf and go every year to Rosslare for 3 or 4 days.
Indeed I am familiar with Mark Crossfield. I followed him when he started his podcasts a number of years ago. I would much prefer the golfing gold-dust spread by Padraig these days.

Funny how things change in golf, Tom McKibbon is leading Singapore Open by a shot after shooting 64. I remember being in the bar in Blarney Golf Resort and watching him crying in his mother's arms after losing his three interpro matches for Ulster. Best of luck to the young man.
