What's the story with John Murphy anyone know, another poor round today, including 3 x doubles and a treble - must be something big amiss to run up those holes?
Not necessarily. First full year on tour, playing all over the place (Indonesia, Australia, India) in successive weeks. So much of it is mental that one bad result can put pressure on immediately. So then he's tired, alone, disappointed, jet lagged and dealing with multiple different cultures without the level of entourage and management that the Rorys and Shanes have.

He has a good sponsor so that is a small bit of pressure off in his first full year. Tbh I always thought Sugrue was the better player, funny how paths differ when turning pro.

Some back nine at Bayhill.
Rors, Spieth,Hatton, Hovland, Scheffler and Kitayama all within a shot of each other.

Cantlay finished -7, six tied at that score, two at -8

3 tied at -8
5 at -7, no body wants to win it :lol!:

Edit, the putting is hilarious. five at -8, three at -7

Edit again...
I never seen anything like this, no one really wants to win it. Kitayama gets to -9 and pulls his tee shot on 18 :lol!:
