What I and others have been saying for a while now. Why are SF not as vocal on this topic as they are others? They were always transparent regarding their stance on it(prior to there being an actual refugee crisis).
Whatever about their membership, their support base will split on this and I think it will dilute their vote where other options are available to the electorate, which, would suit FF/FG down to the ground.
In a follow up to the poll in the irish times there was a piece today saying while there is a high majority
