I agree with most of your post except SK. He got a good goal in fairness but I know he struggled too. It seemed that management had copped on regarding opposition puck outs v Waterford but today again we were all over the place. Why we didn't go man for man I'll never know. The amount of time that a Galway player had a free shot at goal as a result of our lack of marking from puck outs was criminal. That is basic organisational stuff. There are so many simple things that we just don't get right and that comes from bad management. As you said Lohan wouldn't tolerate it and look where they are.We didn’t fire at all in the first half, and anything we did fire went wide or was saved.. but the hardest thing for me to understand was how the management just stood there watching this continue
Contrast the to Lohan
Tony Kelly misses his second free, the sliotar had hardly hit the netting and Lohan had switched Duggan on to them. Kelly, a legend of the game.. doesn’t matter, Dugan proceeds to knock them over. Lehane on the other hand got a full half of misses before KK decided enough was enough with the games greatest free taker sitting on the bench looking
SK made zero impact on the match and lasts the course, Harnedy not much better. Lohan hooked his corner back after 8 minutes for 2 mistakes. He’d had his warning after the goal.
Galway are shocking, for everything we gave them they barely got across the line. I couldn’t believe how slow and laboured they are, they literally have nothing bar Whelan. We are in cricket score territory when Limerick get their hands on them
