MENSTRUAL LEAVE,

Hard to menstruate without one.

The law does not allow for women to take leave every month just because they have their period, or just because they identify as a woman. It is to cover cases where women suffer severe menstrual pain. Presumably certified by a doctor.

Exactly Mattie!

This isn’t going anywhere. If you’re on minimum wage you’re not going to spend €65 to get certified that you are suffering from menstrual pain, in order to get sick leave.

Unless of course you have a medical card…

If you have severe period pain you are likely to be under the care of a gynaecologist or at least a GP for it anyway, and I doubt it would need to be certified every month.
