Gulf in class tonight. Mini wobble in at 2-0 to let Everton back into it which was needless but learnt the lessons of other games and pushed on to win easily.

Some of the attacking play was a joy to watch. We are scoring goal. We are playing some great stuff. We aren’t perfect at all but there’s not much better than us. Our first XI in full flow can beat anyone. Thiago is playing some sensational stuff.

Wolves are much better than Everton. Far more organised. Will be a good test of the two goals per game run. We need to really almost take max points while we have Mane and Salah before they’re gone to AFCON to have any hope.

The Thiago/Fabinho/Henderson axis looks to have great balance to it. I don’t think we expected a super goal and assist from Henderson though.

Most importantly we are seeing the team thrive again with top centre halves back in the team. Those who dismissed the loss of the centre halves as the beginning of the end for this team last season look pretty foolish now.

Still don’t see us winning the title, mind. But we are a top side without a doubt. Just a pity there another two top sides with bigger chequebooks than us at the moment.
