Fianna Fail....but..but..Si nn Féin

FF didn't bomb in 2020, they over performed in 2016.

In 2016, FG, in their eternal arrogance, went around asking everyone to "keep the recovery going", while a vast number of the population were still feeling the negative effects of 5 years of crippling austerity. Those people went "what recovery, do you think we're fucking idiots?"

FF got a bounce from that, as you know, people have short fucking memories and couldn't remember that the crippling austerity was mainly down to FF in the first place, and proving FG right in the process.

They returned to their now middling level of support in 2020.

Does that speak to the intelligence, or ignorance if you will, of the electorate? Therefore the political parties in question playing us for fools.

All political parties try to play us for fools. It's up to yourself to decide who is try to fool you the least and cast your vote accordingly ;-)

Speaking of short memories, I was watching the 2007 RTE “Reeling in the Years” programme and I it brought back memories of FG and others proposing even more spending and tax cuts than FF were! The reality is any of them that were in power at the time of the crash would have suffered the same ill will.

And now we have SF promising €45k houses….but..but Sinn Féin

Really?

I wonder how long it'll take before people will accuse SF of promising €45 houses

The fools are also the ones who blindly join or follow political parties.

They are all mostly arrogant incompetent's and ideologue religious or self-intertest obsessed twats.

Vote on policies that are the most likely to credibly fix problems and not destroy the economy again.

RTE Radio 1. Morning Ireland. Earl/Topic/Treehouse doesn't think much of it though, despite it being one of, if not indeed, THE most listened to programs on Irish radio.

They usually have good political analysis. And you know us Irish, we love a good political discussion

90% of the Irish population do not listen to that programme each morning.

So keep your stupid generalising to yourself because you are leaving yourself wide open to being Fake News.

Which is sad.
