Splits are up. I did Becker dirty.She split 3/100ths faster in the finalthan the heat.
This lines up with her interview where she said she hit the first 200 harder.
Her PB is 52.64 indoors and 51.83 outdoors from 2022 when she kind of broke through so this was very close to a PB performance for her. We just saw a bunch of 50.x and 51 low athletes put distance on her.
Roisin Harrison, lost about 0.6 of a second. between heat and final but had to deal with the Jamaicans losing their baton next to her. She is feirce young, her PBs are closer a second slower again, 53:12 indoor and 52.53 outdoor so overall a good performance.
Excellent consistency from the other two. Getting Phil back is a big deal. Sharlene Mawdesley time will tell but she should be eyeing Euros.
Some more seasoning and Rashidat for the final and the glass is more than half full..
