Your point being what? He had property the government needed and utilised it. It's the governments own policies. He himself is not importing them
No one is saying that he is.

If you do not understand the sheer hypocrisy of opposing Govt policies while at the same time cashing in on Govt. policies then you are simply lost.

If he had any principles then he might have some shred of credibility.

Wheres the hypocrisy in housing Ukrainians and questioning the government trying to rush through the vote on the EU migration agreement?

Rural Independents demanding urgent action on immigration.

Government moves quickly on speeding up asylum cases and manage migration in partnership with E.U. (We need partners in this)..................

Michael Healy-Rae had criticised the amount being spent on international protection despite the Kerry TD having received some €660,000 for accommodating Ukrainian refugees.

He could reduce his rates?

But no..................

Thats not an answer.

When you find yourself parroting Aidan Riordan it might be time to check the detail of a story before commenting.

It's not healy rae who sets the rates for accommodation. It's standard across providers, or supposed to be. It certainly is for hotels providing accommodation to Ukrainians.

No fan of the healy raes and it is hypocritical..however they are not the issue.

The government have made a complete and utter pigs ear of the migration issue and continue to do so. That has been the case for quite a while. Anything else is distraction/deflection/bullology.

Considering how much he is gaining financially from the refugee crisis he should really keep his counsel when it comes to opining on the whole immigration issue, it's obscene that any private individual should own so many properties at a time when first time buyers are finding it near impossible to buy houses to live in, the fact that MHR is a legislator in our national parliament makes a mockery of the idea of TDs being representative of their constituents, he is so far removed from his voters as to be living in a different world to them.

Of course some low energy losers find him an admirable chap, whereas in actual fact he is nothing but a parasite.

Hes just parroting their garbage that they can only solve the immigration fiasco by signing up to this pact. Which is complete bollocks.

85% of those issued with a deportation order in the past five years were never deported. Ireland’s failure to enforce legally issued deportation orders is not an EU problem that has to be addressed by EU legislation .

The tools to deport people exist, it is just that the Government has failed to use them in the majority of cases.

There is absolutely nothing in existing Irish law that prevents Government from doing more about immigration today. They just don't have the stomach for it.
