Immigration Thread

Ignoring your usual distractionary waffle but all the main parties are on the same pages on this.

That is why S.F. have a problem as their demographic are the most anti-immigration.

I mean Sinn Fein actually backing the close the borders and backing the Tories and DUP nonsense etc?

That is just not going to happen.

Mind you there a re a few cItIZeN jOuRnAliSTZs with many tri-colour flags in their bios would totally disagree.

Good man.

All the polls are wrong lol

Clear proof there is no popular support for these marches. Organised by and participated in by the far right and nobody else.
Yes, there is litle support for this from the middle ground of decent people in Ireland.

The usual anti-everything hardcore perma-protest rump are always there.

Let them stand for office and see how they get on but currently they represent no one but themselves and their banners (Ireland/South Dublin says "No") allude to mass support that just is not actually there in reality.

20k asylum seekers by years end and there are already 1k sleeping rough. Things are going to get very very messy.

What you have is a critical failure of enforcement of existing law.

We will experience the same shift to right or centre that's occurred in Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Germany and Hungary.

That is a cast iron certainty.

The same delusional posters told us there was going to be a Yes vote in the recent referendum. They are completely out of touch.

Some look to connect issues where there is no connection. The recent referenda were in no way influenced by the anti-immigration crowd and for anyone to draw a connection between the two issues is plain wrong. They weren’t the first referenda to be defeated and they won’t be the last either.

Let’s wait for the results in the local and European elections. Let’s see if those running on a close the borders ticket do well in significant numbers. Single issue candidates rarely win.

You're actually a pity m8.

Just a shameless Fine Gael shill.

Your posts will be getting a lot of bumps come the local & European elections.

Ya dope.

:lol!:
I could not care lass about Fine Gael (or any other party) as your wild imagination runs away with you yet again.

Vote on policies (Do not fock the economy again and provide homes etc) and not personalities as blind party loyalty is just for simpletons.

Right now you have no one to even vote for as there is no candidate currently running that matches your views.

So you are now in a serious bind..........

The locals and Euros will be a disaster for the Govt parties as they always get a right kicking and deservidly so.

Who even cares?

The borders will never be closed (East-West trade,Common Travel Area,United Ireland and E.U. Brexit agreement favouring Ireland as an all-island entity) and anyone even suggesting it is just a simpleton.

If you are just shouting "Ireland is Full" and "No to open borders" etc you will never be taken seriously.

🙄

Yeah Im sure your latest drivel is very interesting.

'Pie charts/IrishTimes/whatever Fine Gael are selling' blah blah.

I won't be reading it.

The government are really so slow to move on anything. You had bus drivers in the media over the weekend telling them they had asylum seekers on their route from Belfast to Dublin. There is a very obvious checkpoint now with all the info and timetables they need and they sit on their holes
