Cork Hurlers - Part 2

Was visiting somebody in hospital yesterday, Got back in to the car and turned on C103 to hear the commentator say that would have been
game, set and match, Was it a bad miss? At that stage it was 1-17 to 13 points,

Was in the City End right behind.

Dunno how he didn't raise the green flag from there.

Credit to Hoggy that touch for the first goal was sublime.

Not sure about that. When did a manager from outside their county last win an ai. Limerick dabbled with a few and it kinda worked with dog and Allen but that was a total rebuild of culture they needed. I don’t think Henry does anything for Galway and they all thought he was the answer.
Diarmuid Healy from KK, won it with Offaly in 80s, no one ever since

Can't do it if you're already on a yellow. Red deserved for stupidity

With the ball dead an opponent ran full pelt at him. What was he supposed to do, leave himself open to injury or square up to him. Desperate play-acting by the clarewoman and the ref was a gowl to be taken in by it.

One bright point if anything is that Connolly is a fantastic hurler who only seems to be getting better and better. He should never play outside of full forward again, he's unbelievable

First half with Connolly running through on goal - the one he put over the bar under pressure - the Clare corner back deliberately pulled across him chest high where there was no ball - clear yellow card at least but none given that I saw. Had he gone down clutching his chest and rolled around on the ground like a clare bitch they might have been the man down rather than us. Of course you don't like to see that in hurling but if the refs are going to be taken in by play acting then sauce for the goose.
