It shows the results of comparing two completely different cohorts of people, one that had been vaccinated and the other unvaccinated. If you compared the results of 1000 unvaccinated people aged 20 to 30 with 1000 vaccinated people aged 70 to 80 you are certain to get higher excess deaths in the older group which has nothing to do with the vaccination status. The unvaccinated tended to be the younger and healthier group whereas the vaccinated were generally older, in poorer health, many immunocompromised, with underlying health issues etc etc. --this does not fit the vaccine sceptic narrative, so I wonder who is the ostrich here?
