Are you essentially saying that from the moment they are sentenced they should be treated as pariahs for the rest of their lives?

I think it is pretty reasonable to suggest that a rapist who has shown zero remorse for his actions should be a pariah.

But if you want to share a pint with him, off with you. Discuss with him if he enjoyed sexually assaulting a woman so violently that her tampon had to be surgically removed.
