What video games are you playing / looking forward to?

mame for me. 80s coin ops.great fun massive nostilaga and a dregree if imagination needed.
i have no need for the flat screen and a wii or online gaming. my life is exciting enough, still though , when the knees pack in, il be online gaming then.

ahhhhhhhhh Portal 2.

Source engine is the best of all. Better than the Unreal engine.

They may be usurped, judging by the next generation coming down the line.

Here's to the next generation engines!!!!

I just play medal of honor and battlefield: bad company 2 online. I'm looking forward to battlefield 3 coming out at the end of the year but so far battlefield is the best game i ever played online.

Ah the amount of time I spent in Cork arcades hoping I wouldn't be stabbed.

Playing Gran Turismo 5 at the moment
Have Unchartered 2 to start yet, bought it second hand a few weeks back for 15 euro. I think from now on unless I really really want the game I'm not buying a game as it is released.
Really looking forward to Elder scrolls 5 and Mortal Kombat
I'm struggling to get into both of these to be honest.

GT its a bit easy and boring at the start in the rubbish cars and I just dont have that much time in my life to play through 50 races in a civic.

Uncharted I played straight after assasins creed 2 and it doesnt do brilliantly in comparison with that. It is an impressive game and parts of it are fun, particularly when the landscape is blowing up or falling apart around you, but it does just feel a bit 'on rails' and like playing a bit part in a movie rather than the sheer fun of mucking around and completing missions your way in assasins creed.

Also the movement and climbing and all that just feels a bit clunky when you're used to free running in the other one. It feels a bit old to be running and bumping off things while you figure out which one you can climb whereas in assasins creed you can climb basically everything.
