Underdog GAA players who made it at intercounty level?

Is there someone playing for Clare that only made their intercounty debut at 27 or 28? Remember hearing it during one of their matches a year or 2 ago, might have been playing wing back or forward.

Bernard Brogan never played minor.

He had serious injury at 18 afaik. Played u21 level. Michael Fitzsimmons with 9 AI medals and 3 All stars never played underage though nor did Denis Bastick.

The oldest looking 25 year old ever in an all Ireland final. He was a hard bit of stuff. Only played 9 times for Cork, not bad to have an all Ireland medal in the pocket in that short time.

Tom phelan kilkenny hurler only made his championship debut at 27 and hardly played any minor or U21 AFAIK.
