Sorry yeah it was the rocket from the tombs I was referencing there. Always mixing those bloody names up. I had a copy of the day the earth met the rocket from the tombs somewhere but its disappeared. Had great versions of such fun on it.

I think I got that in a Pere Ubu box set or something. Have you heard the Guns 'N' Roses version of "Aint It Fun". I was listening to "The Spaghetti Incident" a while back (don't ask me why) and Christ, their version is awful.

Yeah their version is chronic. Then again most of the songs on that album were dreadful

In more recent years, the UK have had the likes of Idles and the US have had Turnstile.

I’ve heard good things about FIDLAR .

Idles and Turnstile are both great bands.

That Turnstile EP "Move Thru Me" is something else.

First two Idles albums are excellent, next two are OK. New one on the way.

The Idles EP "Welcome" from before they hit the big time is a good record too - sounds nothing like Idles as we know them now though, more like Interpol or Editors.

Never heard of FIDLAR. Will give that a go later. Nice one.
