Interesting and entertaining, he certainly sounds plausible.

I’m not particularly well read on UFOs but it always strikes me as odd that a hugely disproportionate amount of the discoveries/research/sightings are in the US. The US is approx 5% of the global population and land mass yet 90% of UFO events/stories come from there.

Why is it the UFOs usually turn up in places like rural Arizona and not somewhere like downtown Stockholm or a Nigerian village. The whole UFO thing is very US-centric, they are obsessed with it in a way that other countries aren’t. I’d say it’s more likely this guy on Reddit is another fantasist who happens to be well educated biologist and hence sounds so plausible.
